So often we overlook those around us. Simple accent making an extra meal. For an elder. Or giving someone a ride. Or just sitting with them at a doctors appointment. I've had to be at many appointments including my cancer surgery alone. And that was really hard. I know how much it helps to help not just your family but those around us.

I know the homeless seem like a problem. Other things that we can do for them also. Like lobby for public bathrooms and showers that they can get to easily and not just on the 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. schedule. Of whatever organization. We're either a part of the solution or were part of the problem.
