As you travel north on Hwy 99 in Butte County, you are greeted by this iconic sign on the outskirts of Chico. Recently refurbished after years of wear and tear by the elements, this sign clearly demonstrates the civic pride of a community that is as diverse as the people who call Chico home. Over the years, Chico has become a gathering point for people from all walks of life looking for a friendlier, more peaceful, and less expensive lifestyle while still enjoying a wide variety of arts, education, and entertainment opportunities that is second to none in Northern California. Just the first of 365 Reasons We Love The North Valley!

Should trees damaged but still alive and standing in the Camp Fire area be taken down now or left up and observed for a bit to determine their viability?
