Today, we'd like to  introduce you to a couple of our new furry friends from the Butte Humane Society.  Murphy and Mr. Whiskers! Our Mix Pets of the Week!

Hi! My name is Murphy! I'm about 1 year old and I came into the shelter as a stray. I really love people, I would love to get some training classes so that I can learn new things! I would be a great dog for a family and I would love to go home with a dog that can show me that the world is not so scary. I have not been tested with cats. My Ideal home would be one with a yard that has space for me to run and play. Ask our Adoption Staff about me today!

Hello there! My name is Mr. Whiskers. I am an unclaimed cat from the Camp Fire that is available for adoption after many months. Need a mouser? Then I'm the one for you! I would love to live in your barn or shop and keep those pesky rodents away. I am not very fond of humans but would thrive in an environment where I could be independent. I like other cats as long as they are nice to me. Interested in possibly adopting a barn cat like me? Then please come down to the Cat Adoptions Center today!

Should trees damaged but still alive and standing in the Camp Fire area be taken down now or left up and observed for a bit to determine their viability?
